State Bank of India (SBI) is shortly going to release the Admit Card for the Online Preliminary Exam for the recruitment of 13,735 Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) vacancies in clerical cadre across various branches of SBI in India. The SBI Junior Associate Exam is scheduled to be held in February 2025.

How to Download SBI Admit Card?

Candidates who have submitted their online application for SBI Junior Associate Recruitment can download their admit card by visiting the official website of SBI. Follow these steps to download the admit card:

  1. Scroll down and go to the Important Web-Links section.
  2. Click on SBI Admit Card Link.
  3. Enter your Registration No./ Roll No. and Password/ DOB (DD-MM-YY) and click on Login.
  4. Click on Download Admit Card.
  5. Your admit card will be generated. Take a printout and carry it to the exam hall on the day of the SBI Junior Associate Exam 2025.

Selection Process of SBI Clerk Recruitment

The selection process for SBI Clerk Recruitment consists of:

  • Phase-I: Preliminary Exam
  • Phase-II: Main Exam
  • Test of Specified Opted Local Language

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Exam consists of an Online Objective Test for 100 marks, conducted for 1 hour. The structure is as follows:

  • Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above.
  • Negative Marking: 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual tests or aggregate scores.

Adequate candidates (approx. 10 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Exam.

Phase-II: Main Examination

The structure of the Main Exam is as follows:

  • Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above.
  • Negative Marking: 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • Candidates must score minimum percentage marks on aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates).
  • No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects.
  • Merit List: Drawn state-wise and category-wise, based on aggregate marks.

Test of Specified Opted Local Language

  • Candidates who provide 10th/12th mark sheets proving proficiency in the specified opted local language will not have to take the language test.
  • Others will undergo a local language test after provisional selection but before joining.
  • Candidates failing to qualify will not be offered an appointment.

Final Selection

  • Marks obtained in Preliminary Exam (Phase-I) will not be counted for the final selection.
  • Only marks from Main Exam (Phase-II) will be considered for preparing the final merit list.
  • Provisional selection is based on the performance in the Main Exam.
