Common Admission Test (CAT) is the prerequisite entrance examination for admission into various Post Graduate and Fellow/ PhD programmes of prestigious Indian Institutes of Managements (IIM) across the country. However, CAT scores are also allowed to be used by a few other listed non-IIM member institutions to shortlist eligible candidates for various management courses. 

Indian Institutes of Management has released the official notification of IIM Common Admission Test CAT 2026. This year, Indian Institutes of Management, Indore will conduct the computer- based Common Admission Test 2026 (CAT 2026) on Sunday, November 29, 2026 in three sessions as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Eligibility Criteria of IIM CAT Exam

Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for CAT examination conducted by IIMs.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for CAT 2026 should fulfill any one of the following conditions:

a) Completed Bachelor’s degree .
b) Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA (CMA)/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) .
c) Should be in the final year of Bachelor’s degree .

Percentage of marks: SC/ST/PwBD candidates should have a minimum 45%. For General, EWS and NC-OBC candidates, the minimum is 50%.

CAT Registration Fee

Interested and eligible candidates have to pay a registration fee of amount as mentioned below during online submission of CAT application . The fee can be paid using a credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ UPI.

• Click on the “Online Application Form” and complete the registration process by clicking “New User ? Register Now“.
• In the next stage, click on “Online Application Form” Link and Login.
• Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.
• Make payment of application fee as per your category and submit the form.
• At the end, take a print out of the application form .
