Assam CEE 2025: Combined Entrance Examination for B.Tech Admission

Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has officially released the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2025 notification for admission into B.Tech programs in various engineering colleges of Assam for the academic session 2025-2026. Interested and eligible candidates who have passed or are appearing for their 10+2 exams can apply online.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam CEE 2025

1️⃣ Residency Requirement:

✅ The candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent Resident of Assam (PRC required).

2️⃣ Central Govt. Employee Quota:

✅ Candidates applying under this quota must provide proof of permanent residency outside Assam from the respective state authorities.

3️⃣ Educational Qualification:

✅ The candidate must have passed 10+2 in a single sitting without grace marks in the relevant subjects.
✅ Must have individually passed both Theory & Practical exams at the 10+2 level.

4️⃣ Qualifying Marks:

✅ General Category: Minimum 45% in 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
✅ Reserved Category: Minimum 40% in 10+2.
✅ OR, Candidates with a 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology from the State Council for Technical Education, Assam, must have at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in their Final Diploma Examination.

5️⃣ Age Limit:

✅ Minimum Age: 17 years (on the date of registration).
✅ No upper age limit is specified.

6️⃣ Additional Requirements:

✅ Good Moral Character (Certificate required).
✅ Physically & Mentally Fit (Medical Certificate required).

📢 Candidates can download their Admit Cards from the official ASTU website: www.astu.ac.in from 12th April 2025 to 23rd April 2025 using their Application Form Number/User ID and Password.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official ASTU portal by following these steps:

✅ Step 2: Click on the Online Application Form link.
✅ Step 3: Fill in your personal and educational details as required.
✅ Step 4: Upload your passport-sized photograph, signature, and other necessary documents.
✅ Step 5: Pay the application fee and click Submit.
✅ Step 6: Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

The CEE-2025 will be conducted as per the syllabus of Assam State School Education Board, Division – II (Higher Secondary Division).

The examination will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Type and comprise of a Single Paper of 3 (three) hours duration with following distribution:
