Assam Polytechnic Admission 2025 – Apply Online for Diploma Courses @dte.assam.gov.in

Apply Online from 19th May to 7th June 2025

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam has released the official notification for Assam Polytechnic Admission 2025. Eligible and interested candidates can now apply online for admission into 3-Year Diploma in Engineering and Technology courses in State Government Polytechnics of Assam for the academic session 2025–2026.

According to DTE Assam, Polytechnic Admission 2025 will be based only on HSLC marks – no PAT (Polytechnic Admission Test) will be conducted from the session 2024–25 onward.

🎓 Assam Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria 2025

📌 Resident-ship:

• Must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam.

• PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) is mandatory at counselling. Provisional admission allowed with PRC receipt and undertaking.

📌 Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed HSLC or equivalent exam in a single sitting.

• Mathematics and Science are compulsory.

• Must pass Theory and Practical parts separately in both subjects.

• Minimum age: 16 years as on 31st December 2025

• No upper age limit
