CUET UG 2025 – Common University Entrance Test

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2025) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to Undergraduate (UG) Programs in Central Universities under the Ministry of Education and other participating institutions.

This exam provides a single platform for students across the country, ensuring equal opportunities, especially for candidates from rural and remote areas.

🔹 How to Apply for CUET UG 2025?

Candidates can apply for CUET UG online by following these steps:

2️⃣ Click on the “Online Application Form” link.
3️⃣ A new webpage will open.
4️⃣ Enter all required personal and educational details.
5️⃣ Upload passport-sized photograph, signature, and other necessary documents.
6️⃣ Pay the application fee based on your category.
7️⃣ Click on the “Submit” button.
8️⃣ Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

Scheme of CUET UG Examination

 

Name of exam: CUET (UG) – 2025

Total subjects: 37 (13 Indian languages + 23 domain-specific subjects + 01 General Aptitude Test)

Choice of Test Paper: Candidates may choose upto a maximum of five (05) subjects including languages and General Aptitude Test irrespective of the subjects opted in class XII.

Medium of the Test: 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu)

Total Questions:
50 questions for each test papers. All Question are compulsory.

Mode of exam: Computer-Based Test (CBT) Mode

Type of questions: Objective type with Multiple Choice Questions

Marking Scheme:
Correct Answer: 05 marks (Five), There will be negative marking for each incorrect answer of 01 (one) mark.
 
Duration of Test: Duration for each test paper would be 60 minutes The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts depending on the number of candidates and their combinations. (Compensatory time for PwBD Candidates of 20 minutes for each hour).
