Eligibility Criteria – DECT Assam Recruitment

🔹 Citizenship

• Must be an Indian Citizen (Articles 5–8 of the Constitution).

• Must be a permanent resident of Assam.

🔹 Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025)

• Minimum: 18 years

• Maximum: 40 years

• Eligible candidates must be born between 31/12/1984 and 01/01/2007.

Age Relaxation:

🔹 Educational Qualification

• HSLC or equivalent from a recognized board/institution.

• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) / National Trade Certificate (NTC) in relevant trade.

• 1 year Industrial/Teaching Experience desirable.

🔹 Other Criteria

• Must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of Assam.

• Must submit declaration under Small Family Norms (Form A).

Phase I – Written Test

• Total Marks: 100

• Subjects:

Phase II – Skill Test

• Shortlisting: 1:4 ratio based on written test marks.

• Skill Test Marks: 50

• Verification of original documents before Skill Test.

Final Selection

• Based on Written Test + Skill Test marks.

• Merit list valid for 12 months from publication date.
