NIPER Guwahati Vacancy 2025 – Post-wise Details

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Total Vacancies: 01
• Age Limit: 30 years
• Pay Scale: ₹37,000/- + HRA (as applicable)
• Educational Qualification & Experience:
  • M.S./M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Analysis/Natural Products from a PCI/AICTE/UGC/NAAC recognized institution.
  • Minimum 60% marks required.
  • Must have GPAT/GATE/CSIR-NET or any national-level entrance test qualification at the time of the interview.

2. Project Scientist I (Non-Medical)

• Total Vacancies: 01
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Pay Scale: ₹56,000/- + 20% HRA (as applicable)
• Educational Qualification & Experience:
  • Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Analysis.
  • Postgraduate degree in M.Sc. (Analytical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry) or M.Pharm./MS Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Analysis/Quality Assurance/Natural Products/Medicinal Chemistry) with 60% marks.
  • At least one research publication in an SCI-indexed journal.

3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Age Limit: 32 years
• Pay Scale: ₹37,000/- + 20% HRA (as applicable)
• Educational Qualification & Experience:
  • M. Pharm./MS Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Analysis/Quality Assurance/Natural Products/Medicinal Chemistry) OR M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry.
  • Minimum 60% marks from a PCI/AICTE/UGC/NAAC recognized institution.
  • Must have GPAT/GATE/CSIR-NET or any other national-level entrance test certification before the last application date.

4. Project Scientist I (Civil Engineering)

  • ME/MTech in Civil Engineering or BE/BTech with 3 years of R&D/industrial experience.
  • Minimum one research publication in an SCI-indexed journal.

5. Project Scientist I (Mechanical Engineering)
