Prabha Fellowship Programme 2025
The Prabha Fellowship, an initiative by the Hiteswar Saikia Foundation, is designed to empower young minds through research, knowledge-building, and hands-on experience. The fellowship aims to address key socio-political and economic challenges in Assam by engaging fellows in research, fieldwork, and stakeholder interactions.

Eligibility Criteria
| Criteria | Details |
|---|---|
| Educational Qualification | Master’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Political Science, Mass Communication & Journalism, Economics, or Law. Candidates with an LLB are also eligible. |
| Language Proficiency | Fluency in Assamese or other local languages preferred for effective fieldwork. |
| Research & Fieldwork Experience | Prior experience in research, fieldwork, or related areas is an advantage. |
| Technical Requirements | Candidates must have access to a personal computer for research and documentation. |
| Travel Requirement | Fellows must be willing to travel regularly across Assam for fieldwork and stakeholder engagement. |

Remuneration & Contract
📌 Contract Duration: 6 months

Selection Process
