🗂️ Pragyan Bharati Scheme 2025 – Overview

The Pragyan Bharati Scheme, launched in 2020 by the Government of Assam, rewards meritorious Higher Secondary (HS) students with scooters to promote education and mobility. In a major update for 2025, all students scoring 80% or more in the HS Final Examination conducted by the Assam State School Education Board will be eligible for this benefit—regardless of gender.

To be eligible for the Pragyan Bharati Scooty Scheme:

1. 📍 Must be a resident of Assam

2. 🧾 Must score 80% or above in the HS Final Exam 2025 (AHSEC)

3. 🛑 Not eligible if:

   • Appeared under betterment or reappearance category

4. 🌐 Students studying outside Assam are eligible with a valid PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) of Assam

Unlike 2020, students no longer need to apply separately. The merit list is now auto-generated from AHSEC exam data.
