SSUHS GNM Admission 2025
(SSUHS) has released the official admission notification for admission into GNM courses under Directorate of Health Service, Govt. of Assam in both Govt. and private GNM Training institutes for the session 2025 – 2026. For this purpose, an entrance examination – GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE), 2025 will be conducted. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their online applications here for these GNM courses.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam GNM Admission
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 17 years to 35 years as on 31st December 2025.
Age Relaxation: There is no age bar for RANM/ RLHV.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess anyone of the following educational qualification to be eligible for getting admitted to GNM course.
a. 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable. Three (core elective) subject marks may be taken for calculating the percentage of marks excluding the marks in English. Also, it has to be ensured the candidate has pass marks in English.
b. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the schools recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
c. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre.
d. Registered ANM with pass marks.
PRC: Permanent Resident Certificate is mandatory for admission in the Govt. Institutes of Assam.
