Pay: Level 2 and 3 in 7th CPC
Age Limit: Age of the candidates must be 18-30 years as on 01.01.2027.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability/Ex-servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 Stage).

Application Fee
Candidates have to pay an examination fee as mentioned below as per their categories or community:

Payment Mode: Candidates can pay their exam fee through online mode using options like Internet Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
For General/ OBC category candidates, an amount of ₹400 will be refunded after appearing in the 1st Stage CBT. For all other categories, the full fee of ₹250 will be refunded after appearing in the 1st Stage CBT.

Selection Process of RRB NTPC Vacancy
The recruitment process shall involve 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification/Medical Examination. Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of above-mentioned recruitment stages.

Note:
- The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices.
- There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Shortlisting of Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in 1st Stage CBT.
- Minimum percentage of qualifying of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR-40%, EWS- 40%, OBC (Non creamy layer)-30%, SC-30%, ST-25%. This is also applicable to Ex-Serviceman & PwBD category candidates, as per their community. These percentages of qualifying marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2 Marks for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
